Edgar H. Buck, Jr.

Warren- Edgar "Ted" Buck, 93, entered into Eternal Life on March 3, 2023.
Born in Troy, New York, son of Edgar and Marie (Doppmann) Buck, he grew up in Warren, MA. He taught history at Woodbury High School in Woodbury, CT for many years. More recently, he taught at Magnificat Academy in Warren and St. Thomas Aquinas School in West Warren.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a former member of the Warren Historical Commission. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the Seventh Division of the US Army.
Mr. Buck was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Church, 2274 Main St. in West Warren on March 9, 2023 at 10 am. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held in the spring in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren.
Memorial donations may be sent to St. Thomas Aquinas School, PO Box 323, West Warren, MA, 01083, or to the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA, 01545. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
