Warren - Edith E. (O'Harra) Hotaling, 75, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in Worcester.
She leaves one daughter, Crystal J. Hotaling of Warren; two brothers, Dennis Mercon and his wife Debra of Gulf Port, MO and William Mercon and his wife Mildred of Manchester, NH; two sisters, Carol Davis of Atkinson, NH and Katherine Morse and her husband Roland of Revere and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Curtis M. Hotaling and her twin sisters, Connie R. Robinson and Bonnie K. O'Harra. She was born and grew up in Saint Joseph, Missouri, daughter of the late William O. and Eldyne H. (George) O'Harra and lived in Westfield and Worcester before moving to Warren in 1988.
Mrs. Hotaling worked for 20 years for the Paul Revere Insurance Company as an administrative assistant before retiring in 2004.
Edith attended the Upper Room Christian Fellowship Church in West Warren and enjoyed genealogy, knitting and crocheting.
A Funeral Service for Edith will be held at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours and burial will be held privately in Cheshire Cemetery in Cheshire, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Edith's name to the Warren Fire Department Ambulance, P.O. Box 608, Warren, MA 01083, the Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Ave., Nebraska City, NE 68410 or to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, P.O. Box 96105, Washington, DC 20090-6105. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
