Elinor M. Towne, 91
West Warren - Elinor M. (Titus) Towne, 91, of Old West Warren Rd., died Thursday, April 28, 2016.
She leaves one son, Kevin Towne and his wife Judy of West Warren; four daughters, Susan Towne of West Brookfield, Sandra Lefevre and her husband Ralph of North Brookfield, Karen Merrill and her husband David of Warren and Lisa Lowe and her husband Chris of Gloucester; one sister, Marjorie Rechtorovic of Florida; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, three special cousins, Beverly Russell, Jean Whalen and Gordon Bennett and she was looking forward to the birth of her twin great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert W. Towne in 2010. She was a graduate of the former Warren High School.
She was a member of the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in West Brookfield.
Elinor dedicated her life to taking care of her daughter Susan and loved spending time with her family and her cat Kitty Girl.
Her family would like to thank everyone at the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for the excellent care and love that they gave to their mother.
A Funeral Service for Elinor will be held, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in West Brookfield. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield.
