Ware - Elizabeth L. "Betty" (Gero) Walker, 82, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
She was the wife of James Walker, a loving mother to her daughter, Tracey Clough and her husband Jerry, and her sons, Wayne Walker and his wife Joyce, James Walker, Jr. and Dale Walker and his wife Tammy, as well as a loving grandmother to Jessica Clough, Summer Walker, Zachary Walker, and Luke Walker, and a loving great-grandmother to Madison Clough. She also leaves her brother Mike Piatek of Bondsville, and sisters, Beverly Trombley of Ware and Barbara Piatek of Brimfield.
Betty was born in Moriah, NY on August 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Mabel (Gero) Piatek. She attended Altona Central School until she moved to Bondsville at the age of 14, where she graduated from Palmer High School. She retired from Jarvis East in Palmer.
At her request, services for Betty will be held privately. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
