Elsie Crevier, 95
Sun City, AZ / West Brookfield - Elsie (Johnson) Crevier, 95, died on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, with her loving family by her side.
She leaves her daughter, Judy Ortiz and son-in-law Dave Ortiz of Sun City, AZ; daughter-in-law Betty Cass, sister Mildred Roberts of North Brookfield; five granchildren, Michele, Tracy, Todd, John, and Richard, and lots of great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Roy F. Crevier in 1990, her son Edward Crevier in 2007, and her siblings, Edward Evans, Phyllis Masterman and Lillian Rossi. She was born in Ashland. Elsie was a long-time resident of North and West Brookfield, before moving to live with family in AZ in 2014.
Elsie was a winding machine operator at the former William E. Wright Co., and also worked at the former Kingbury Heel Co., before retiring in 1983. She was a member of First Congregational Church of North Brookfield, and the West Brookfield Senior Center. She enjoyed Square Dancing with the Quaboag Twirlers for several years to stay active.
A Graveside Service for Elsie will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 1:00PM in Walnut Grove Cemetery in North Brookfield. There are no calling hours, and everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Brookfield Rescue Squad, Inc., P.O. Box 540, West Brookfield, MA 01585.
