Ware....... Enid P. (Smith) Szczepanek of Ware passed away on August 16th in the Mary Lane Hospital. Enid was married to the late Edward Szczepanek. She leaves her sons Wayne and wife Kathi of Ware and Joseph and wife Patricia from Hardwick, her grandchildren Chad Szczepanek and his wife Megan of East Longmeadow, Kim Place and her husband Michael of Putnam CT. Enid also leaves 2 great-grandchildren Trevor and Kayson Szczepanek, two nieces Sheryl and Leonie as well as many other nieces and nephews from Ware, Maine, Ohio, Nevada and California and sisters in law Florence Szczepanek of Ware and Dixie Mazur of California.
Enid was born on Sept 1, 1913 in Auckland New Zealand and moved to Ware in 1945. She was a past member of VFW Auxiliary #2577, a longtime volunteer at Mary Lane Hospital Gift Shop and a member of All Saints Church.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Baystate Mary Lane 85 South St. Ware MA. 01082. Charbonneau Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
