Hartsdale, NY / Warren - Evelyn A. (Buck) Allen, 88, of Hartsdale, NY died on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. She was here visiting with her family for Thanksgiving.
She leaves her twin brother, Edgar H. "Ted" Buck of Warren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her huband of 14 years, Harry J. Allen, in 1970 as well as three brothers and one sister. She was born in Troy, NY, daugher of the late Edgar H. and Marie T. (Doppmann) Buck.
Evelyn worked for the former Eastern Airlines Corp. and then as a Travel Coordinator at Texaco, Inc. before retiring in 1994.
A Funeral Mass for Evelyn will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in St. Stanislaus Church, 2270 Main St., in West Warren. There are no calling hours. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church for the Mass. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
