Finleigh G. Dragon

Finleigh G. Dragon, 19, died early Sunday morning, August 24, 2025, following a tragic motor vehicle accident in Auburn.

She leaves her mother, Michelle A. Dragon of Auburn; her father, Ryan E. Dragon of Tewksbury; her brothers, Ryan and Tristan Dragon; her maternal grandfather, David Macaruso of Brookfield; her paternal grandmother, Beverly Adams of Holland; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Cindrea Macaruso earlier this year. She was born in Southbridge and grew up in Sturbridge prior to moving to Auburn.

Finleigh was a 2024 graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School. She worked as a receptionist at Plant Fitness in Webster Square in Worcester and was to start classes at Quinsigamond Community College this fall for nursing. She was an outgoing, lively vivacious, young woman who was sadly taken too soon. She loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Finleigh loved the ocean and spent many summers in Ocean Park, Maine with her family. Along with many trips to the Rhode Island beaches with her friends. She was a strong, very loving and funny girl. Finleigh was a social butterfly whose presence lit up the room. She had a special bond with her brothers and made many great memories with them. She was artistic, creative and quite a fashionista though she loved to thrift shop.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening, September 4, 2025, from 5 to 7PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11AM in North Cemetery, Maple St., in Sturbridge.
