Ware - Francine Wodyka of Ware passed away on Friday, October 30, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, Alan Wodyka, and her beloved toy poodle, Lilly. She leaves her brother, Sam Williamson, and his wife, Martina, of Springfield, Massachusetts, as well as five nieces and nephews: Nick, Derek, Dan, Sarah, and Jamie. Francine was predeceased by her beloved son, Eric Wodyka, and her sister, Sherrie Kwasnik. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Francine was the daughter of the late Francis and Samuella (Laverty) Williamson.

A graduate of Holyoke High School, Class of 1972, Francine began her career as a nurse's aide. She dedicated more than 30 years caring for others, working in several nursing homes throughout the Palmer and Holyoke areas. In her free time, Francine enjoyed painting and drawing. She took numerous art classes in Holyoke and especially loved creating portraits of family and friends. Her artistic talents and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
