Ludlow - Francis Reginald Shover, 84, of Ludlow, died on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Vero Health and Rehabilitation in Hampden.
He leaves his wife of 25 years, Gloria A. (LaFromboise) Shover; two children, his son, Robert Shover of Ludlow and daughter, Jeannie Sutphin of Tennessee. He also leaves his sister, Frieda Raymond of Williston, VT, two granddaughters, Jammie and Jessica, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Richford, Vermont, son of the late Asa W. Shover and Frieda (McEwen) Shover. He grew up in Vermont and has lived in Ludlow for over 25 years.
Francis was a talented handyman and also worked in building maintenance. He served in the United States Army National Guard of Massachusetts when he was younger.
A graveside service for Francis will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Ware at a later date. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting his family with arrangements.
