Frank Mattson

Barre – Frank Mattson, 63, died on Saturday, November 8, 2025, while a resident in his care home, after a period of declining health over the past few years.

He leaves his father, Ezra Mattson of West Brookfield and those who have cared for him for so many years. He was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Mattson earlier this year.

Frank was born with many developmental challenges. Despite that, he showed a willingness to share his love for others. He enjoyed going out shopping, participating in activities and playing ball. He also liked going to Maine for family vacations when he was younger.

Funeral services for Frank will be held privately. His urn will be placed with Ezra and Ruth’s urns in the columbarium in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon at a later time.
