Frank W. Kokoski, Jr.

Ware- Frank W. Kokoski, Jr. died on Thursday morning, October 16, 2025, at the Elaine Center in Hadley.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Elaine (Homans) Kokoski; his sons, Frank W. Kokoski III, and his wife Jennifer of Palmer, William Kokoski and his wife Angela of Monson, and Tim Kokoski; his daughter, Lisa Kokoski of Palmer; his sister, Linda Shunaman and her husband Raymond of Brimfield; and his brother, Daniel Kokoski and his husband Peter of Springfield. He was predeceased by his brothers Mark Kokoski and Michael Kokoski. He also leaves his grandchildren Jeffrey, Katlyn, Bridgette, Jacob, Samual, Thomas, Spencer, and Benjamin, his nieces Karen and Dee, as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was born in Ware, son of the late Frank W. Kokoski and Evelyn (Ely) Kokoski and was a life-long resident of the town.

Frank was very proud of his military service enlisting in the United States Navy when he was 19 and later in the Army National Guard. He was a long-time member of the AMVETS in Three Rivers.

Frank worked in the local factories in Ware, including the former Dorman Mills. He also worked as a farmer at Vale’s Dairy Farm in Warren and was the custodian of the Ware Armory for over 20 years. He shared his family’s love of farming and later started his own small farm with his daughter Lisa.

Frank loved his large family, and will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He could always be found driving around town with his golden retriever Toby. He leaves behind cherished memories for family and friends.

Calling hours for Frank will be held on Monday evening, October 27, 2025, from 5 to 7pm at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware. A Funeral Service will be held the following morning on Tuesday, October 28, at 10:30am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Quabbin Park Cemetery following the service.
