Gabrielle A. Nutter

Palmer / West Warren - Gabrielle A. Nutter, 87, of Palmer, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Palmer Healthcare Center.
She leaves her daughter, Mary Jane Blanchet her husband Peter of Barrington, Rhode Island; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters-in law, Joy Kosmider of Monson and Yvette Moody of Portland, Maine, as well as a niece and several nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Alfred D. Nutter in 2010, and her son, David Nutter in 2019. She was born in Westfield, and was a life-long resident of West Warren before moving to the Healthcare Center in 2018.
Gabrielle worked at the school cafeteria while her children were growing up. She then worked in the office at William E. Wright Co. for many years until her retirement. She was very active with the prayer group from St. Paul's Church in Warren. Gabrielle was very devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass for Gabrielle will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:30AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 74 North Street in West Warren. Burial will follow mass at St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 or at www.stjude.org .
