Garret T. Laliberte

July 22, 1997 — May 12, 2021

North Brookfield - Garret T. Laliberte, 23, of North Brookfield passed away tragically from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.



He leaves his mother and step-father, Erin and Adam Lavoie of Warren, his brothers, Ryan Lavoie of Warren and Shawn Perrin and his companion Zack Bradford of Southbridge; his sister, Aleyah Perrin and her companion Joshua Ruiz of Southbridge, his niece, NovaLee Perrin, his grandparents, Diane Laliberte of Southbridge and Thomas and Pam Lavoie of Warren, as well as several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Garret also leaves his companion Lauren Downs. He was predeceased by his grandfather Roger Fredette.



Garret was a hard-working Machine Operator at Gremarco Industries in West Brookfield.

He loved spending his time with family, especially his time with mom, stepdad and his siblings. He also loved his time with his Aunt Jaclyn (Fredette) and Uncle, Andrew (Penalvert), who were like second parents to him. Their bond was unbreakable. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, and skateboarding with a passion. He was also an avid videogamer. His smile could light up a room, his sweet and powerful hug never left you wondering if he loved you. If you needed help, he was there. He was a hard worker and lived life to the fullest.



Walk-through calling hours for Garret will be held on Thursday, May 20th from 4 to 7PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main Street in West Brookfield. Masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines followed while at the funeral home.  A Funeral Service will be held privately followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ryan Lavoie and NovaLee Perrin Benefit Fund, c/o Corner Stone Bank, 968 Main Street, Warren, MA 01083-0849 or at any Corner Stone Bank location.
