Warren - Garrett J. Laurence, 20, of Warren died on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Sturbridge following an accident.
He leaves his parents, Jennifer L. Laurence-Russo of Warren and her husband Tim Russo, and Valerie A. Laurence of Kentucky; his brothers Benjamin Laurence of Worcester, Sgt. Nathan Russo stationed at MCAS Miramar in California, Alexander Russo and Joshua Russo both of Warren and a sister Tia Russo of Spencer; He also leaves numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends.
Garrett was a 2020 graduate of Quaboag Regional High, and was a student at Holyoke Community College studying History. Garrett will be remembered for his dry and sarcastic sense of humor. Don't move anything...he will know. Garrett loved everything fantasy, magical and mythical, not believing in ordinary realms. He was an avid reader, rarely seen without a book in his hand. He enjoyed attending Renaissance Fairs, sitting by a campfire, walking in nature and cuddling with his furry companions. Most of all, he was a home-body who loved gaming with his brothers and spending time with his family.
A Graveside Service for Garrett will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10AM in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 20, from 4 to 7pm in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. Due to allergies, kindly omit flowers. Instead, please consider making a donation in Garrett's memory to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
