Genevieve B. Keating

Ware - Genevieve B. (Bator) Keating, 103, of Ware, died on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Baystate Wing Hospital.
She leaves her long-time friend, Judith E. Aversa of Ware, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Thomas E. Keating in 1967, as well as her sisters, Helen York and Frances Bator, and her brother, Edwin Bator. She was born in Ware in 1915, daughter of the late Walter and Honorata (Padol) Bator.
Genevieve graduated from Ware High School in 1933. She worked for Ware Knitters for 17 years, Haneg Industries, Inc., in West Warren, and Friendship Greetings in North Hollywood, CA for several years prior to moving back to Massachusetts. She then worked as an Accountant at the former EG&G in Salem for 26 years before retiring in 1986 at the age of 71.
Genevieve was a former member of St. Mary's Church in Ware, where she served as a Communicant.
A Funeral Service for Genevieve will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 11:00AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. Burial will be in New Saint William Cemetery following the service.
Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
