West Brookfield - George "Mike" Comeau, 72, of West Brookfield died on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his home with his family.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Jean M. (Sonia) Comeau of West Brookfield, his daughter, Nicole Chaffee and her husband Philip, a sister, Cynthia Kershaw and her husband Harold, three granddaughters, Eibhlin, Brighid and Kelleigh Chaffee, nieces and nephew, Angela Morrell, April Wesley and Andrew Kershaw and his closest friends, Ronald Marchessault, and Michael Deremian. He was born in Lynn, MA son of the late George J. and Barbara F. (Brightman) Comeau.
Mike was a General Contractor for many years doing residential construction before retiring.
He was a United States Army Veteran.
A Funeral Mass for Mike will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in West Brookfield. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield following the mass.
