Warren - Gloria J. (LaValley) Davison, 78, of Warren, died on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Life Care of Wilbraham.
She leaves her husband of 61 years, Kenneth A. Davison, Sr.; her daughters, Sandra A. LaMay and her husband Bruce of Warren, and Karen Marcinkiewicz and her husband Mark of South Hampton; her son, Kenneth A. Davison, Jr. and his wife Angela of West Warren; five grandchildren, Bruce, Jr., Matthew, Lani, Alex, and Josephine and six great-grandchildren. She was born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Telesphore and Doris (Nareau) LaValley and has lived in Warren for over 70 years.
Gloria was predeceased by her brother, Robert "Bob" LaValley. She also leaves behind her sister, Ruth Tuttle-Mann of Warren, and her brother-in-law Francis Mann, Sr.
In addition to taking care of her family, Gloria worked as a machine operator at Gavitt Wire Co., Wirecraft Products, as well as Tambrands Corp., and the former Wm. E. Wright Co. prior to retiring.
In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts, as well as sewing and flower arranging. She also looked forward to trying her luck at the casino!
A Funeral Mass for Gloria will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 2270 Main St., in West Warren. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening, August 15th, from 5 to 7PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 2270 Main St., West Warren, MA 01092.
