Palmer - Gloria R. Jordan, of Ware died on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Palmer HealthCare Center.
She leaves her loving husband of 64 years, Milton S. Jordan; two sons, Milton S. Jordan, Jr. and his wife Susan of Ware, and Daniel R. Jordan and his wife Denise of West Warren; two sisters, Georgette Korzec of West Warren, Joan DeGray of Ware; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was born in Springfield, daughter of the late George D. and Helen (Ambrose) Raymond. She and Milton lived in Ware most of their married life.
Gloria was an Office Manager at Ware Foundry for many years before retiring. She enjoyed flower gardening around her home, as well as collecting and selling antique furniture. She was a long-time volunteer at the Gift Shop in Mary Lane hospital.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by her extended family.
At her request, funeral services for Gloria will be held privately, and there are no calling hours. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street, Ware, is assisting her family with arrangements.
