With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria Primavera, who passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of April 8th, in the arms of her loved ones, after a brief illness.

Mom loved to cook, go for walks, shop for antiques, and watch birds. She especially enjoyed dining at the Black and White, where she would order her favorite turkey dinner or baked haddock. She loved to read in bed at night and often said she wanted to be a writer. She cherished reading storybooks to her grandchildren during sleepovers and always made sure to spoil them with sweets.

When we were children, she took us on nature walks, where we collected pinecones to make Christmas wreaths, and she brought us ice skating. Mom loved her family deeply and always put us before herself. She taught us kindness, compassion, and how to care for others. She adored her dog, Roland, and her favorite movie was Gone With the Wind. She also enjoyed watching mystery shows.

Gloria leaves behind her daughter Joann (Primavera) Girouard; daughter MaryAnn and her husband Tim; daughter Rosemarie and her husband Hal; and her son Joseph and his wife Charlene. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Primavera, and her daughter, Carolyn Primavera.

Mom, you were a wonderful mother and grandmother to us all. We thank God for every day we had with you. The house feels empty without you. We love you so much.
