Warren – Harriet M. DeJesus, 89, a long-time resident of Warren, died on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Webster Manor Rehabilitation and Health Center in Webster.
She leaves her sons, Leslie W. DeLuca and his wife Jayne of Brimfield, and Brian DeLuca of Charlton. She also leaves three grandchildren, Jamie, Brian II, and Matthew DeLuca. She was predeceased by her husbands James A. DeLuca, that she wed in 1956 with whom she had three children, and in 1968 wed Manuel J. DeJesus after James death. She is also predeceased by her son, James A. DeLuca, Jr., and her long-time companion, David Hope, as well as her eight other siblings. She was born in Holden and grew up in Jefferson, the daughter of the late Leslie W. and Mary H. (Wood) Gove.
Harriet enjoyed riding quarter horses, especially her horse, Comanche. She was a former Women’s Auxiliary Member of the Adams, Coney, Frew American Legion Post 244 in West Brookfield where she supported the charity activities and played billiards.
A Graveside Service for Harriet will be held in St. John Cemetery in Worcester in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wales Community Pantry, PO Box 185, Wales, MA 01081 or online at Donate Now | Wales Community Pantry.
