Warren - Helen M. (Swett) Blake, 77, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
She leaves one son, Ernest J. Blake, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Warren; one daughter, Catie Blake-Burnett and her husband Hal of Bourne; several siblings; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Clarence S. and Myrtle I. (Hawks) Swett and was a lifelong resident of Warren. She graduated from the former Warren High School.
Mrs. Blake worked for over 35 years at the William E. Wright Co. in West Warren before retiring in 1999.
Funeral Services for Helen will be held privately and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Warren Fire Department Ambulance, P.O. Box 608, Warren, MA 01083. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
