Henry Gendron

Ware-Henry P. E. Gendron 81 passed away on March 21st in Agawam. He leaves his wife Mirelle and two sons Patrick and Marc and a daughter Mona. He leaves four grandchildren, Kelly, Kyle, Jeremy and Sean and two great-grandchildren Kylie and Giovanni. Henry had four brothers and five sisters and was the youngest of the family, he is the last to pass away. Henry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and returned and met Mirelle, and they were wed on October 14, 1961. Henry worked for Pratt and Whitney until he retired in 1994. Henry moved to Springfield, MA in 1959, his favorite passion was maintaining a garden when he lived at 122 Knollwood Street in Springfield. He loved to share the abundances with his neighbors and helped them with his skills in any projects that arose. In 1998 he and Mirelle moved to Agawam and lived there until 2001, when they moved to Ware. Each move was to help one of his children with the grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 28th at 1  pm  at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. A calling hour will be held on Friday from NOON to 1 pm. Burial will be in Mass Veterans Cemetery in Agawam at 3 pm.
