Ware, MA----Inge Elisabeth Tenzer, 95, of Valparaiso Indiana, passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2015 in the home of her son Tomas in Massachusetts. She was born on May 31, 1920, in Pirmasens Germany to Wilhelm and Ebba (Gustafsson) Hartmuth. She was an artist, a nurse, a wife and mother. During WWII she met her future husband, Rudolf, in Narvik Norway. They were married on Oct. 2, 1947 in Germany and raised four children. They immigrated to the USA in 1953. She traveled extensively throughout the USA and the world. She had a huge heart...her real passion was a sincere love for people of all races, ethnicities and cultures. She made friends easily and often maintained many friendships throughout the world. An old friend in Germany recently told her, she is still the original hippie (peace, love and in harmony with nature), which described her perfectly. After Rudolf retired, they traveled as volunteers for the International Executive Service Corps, working on projects in developing countries. She is survived by her four children: Kristina (Joe Doria) Tenzer of Valparaiso IN, Tomas Tenzer of Ware MA, Mattias (Adrienne) Tenzer of Santa Cruz CA, and Markus (Kathy) Tenzer of Martinsville NJ, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011 and by her sister. Charbonneau Funeral Home , Ware MA assisted with arrangements
