Irene Victoria Gryszowka

January 19, 1926 — March 14, 2015

Irene V. (Jezyk) Gryszowka, 89, passed away on Saturday March 14th  at the home of her daughter in West  Brookfield. She was the wife of the late Joseph Gryszowka who died in 1998. She leaves her daughter Charlotte  Boos and her husband Richard of West Brookfield, her grandchildren, David, James and Robert Boos, and her 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters Charlotte Borlikowski of West Brookfield, Genevieve Molinaro of University Park WA, and Phyllis Masse of Ware. She was born in Ware daughter of Francis and Mary (Kos) Jezyk. She worked as a housekeeper at St. Mary's Church for many years, and had also worked at the former Ware Shoe Co. and American Athletic Shoe. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, where she was a member and Past-President of the Ladies Guild and was also a member of the Rosary Sodality. She was quite proud of being the head of the St. Mary's Penny Sale Committee  for many years. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. with a Mass at 10am in St. Mary's Church, South St. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, 532 Burritt St. New Britain CT. 06053, or to St. Mary's School, South St. Ware Ma 01082.
