Irene E. Lechowicz, 88
Brookfield - Irene E. Lechowicz, 88, of Boyes Ave., died Monday, February 1, 2016 in Baystate Medical Center.
She leaves her husband of 66 years, Ted S. Lechowicz; three daughters, Lori Bouvier and her husband Wayne of North Brookfield, Dina Leavitt and her husband Brian of Barre and Debra Berthiaume and her husband Peter of North Brookfield; five grandchildren, Erica, Shaun, Breanna, Marissa and Benjamin; three great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Nathan and Zachary and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several siblings. She was born in Conemaugh, PA daughter of the late Steven and Anastasia (Hanchak) Krisko and has lived in Brookfield since 1950.
Mrs. Lechowicz worked for several years at the former William E. Wrights Co. in West Warren and then 13 years as a teachers aid at the Brookfield Elementary School in Brookfield before retiring in 1984.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in Brookfield.
Funeral Services for Irene and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton will be private.
