James R. Benoit, 66
Brookfield - James R. Benoit, 66, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 in UMASS Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He leaves his loving wife of 43 years, Maureen E. Benoit; one son, Patrick Benoit and his wife Lisa; one daughter, Jennifer Egan and her fiancé, Norman Meikle; his two grandchildren, Colin Egan and Sophia Benoit and siblings, Robert and Judith Benoit, nieces, nephews and many family members he loved very much. He was born in Worcester son of the late Albert and Bertha (Nault) Benoit and lived over 40 years in Brookfield.
Jim was a Technical Specialist for CNC Engineering, Inc. in Enfield, CT before retiring due to an illness.
He enjoyed spending time in Maine, fixing things and most of all, spending time with his family and his two grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Funeral Services and burial will be private.
