Jane S. Mullaney of Warren, MA formerly of North Providence, RI died peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 after a long illness. Jane was born on July 7, 1922 in New Haven, CT. She graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut in 1944 and worked for IBM after graduation.
Jane was pre-deceased by her two husbands. She married J. Vincent Cuddy at Fort Bragg, NC in April 1946. Vin died in 1981. Jane married Joseph Mullaney at Providence College in September, 1986. Joe passed away in 2000.
Jane is survived by her children: Jim and his wife Sheila of Warren, MA; Paul and his wife Kathleen of Prineville, Oregon; Michael and his wife Mary of Lambertville, NJ; her step-children Joseph and his wife Kathy of Downingtown, PA; Paul and his fiancée Prithul of Minneapolis, MN; John Mullaney of Clayton, NC; Thomas Mullaney of Providence, RI; Mary Ellen Mullaney of Berkeley, CA; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Jane was a thoughtful, gracious and religious woman who held a deep belief in social justice and the goodness of others. She was beloved by everyone whose lives she touched.
Varnum Funeral Home, Inc of West Brookfield is handling the arrangements. A memorial service is planned for August 3, 2018 in Providence, RI. Burial will be private.
