Janet Christine Spencer-Allen, 69, died Saturday April 20, 2013
She was raised by William and Edith Spencer of North Reading, MA, and born on September 16, 1944, in Cambridge, MA. Janet graduated from North Reading High School in 1962, and received her BA in School administration from the University of Massachusetts in 1994.
Janet was a long time substitute teacher in the Ware public schools, as well as executive secretary at Spalding Corp., and Administration manager at the Belchertown State School.
Janet leaves one sister, Gail Mustapha, of Lawrence, MA, two children, Michelle Kern(48) of Capitola, CA, and Scott Allen(45) of Three Rivers, MA., as well as 3 grandchildren, Justin Allen(24), Brittani Allen(21), and Breanna Allen(18) of Belchertown, MA. Janet also leaves her long time friend Andrea Humpel of Ware, MA, whose friendship meant so much to her.
There will be a memorial service at the All Saints Church on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.
