Jeffrey E. Dumas, 67
Warren/Port Charlotte, FL - Jeffrey E. Dumas, 67, of Warren, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his winter home in Port Charlotte, FL.
He leaves his loving wife of 46 years, Rosemary (Attardi) Dumas; his daughter Michelle Dumas Michalak and her husband Scott Michalak; one sister, Linda Williams and her husband Blaine; two brothers, Robert Dumas and his wife Deborah and Keith Dumas and his wife Dorothy; his mother-in-law, Josephine Attardi; two grandsons, Jarek and Karlen and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Kevin M. Dumas in 1996. He was born in West Springfield son of the late Raymond E. and Joyce J. (Johnston) Dumas and grew up in Agawam before moving to Warren in 1974.
Mr. Dumas was an outside salesman for Grossman's for 27 years and then later worked 12 years at GV Moore Lumber Co. before retiring in 2008.
He was a member of St. Paul's Church in Warren, the Fellowship Church of Englewood, FL. and was a CCD teacher and a member of the Warren Finance Committee. In the past he coached Little League and All Stars in Warren.
A Funeral Mass for Jeffrey will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM in St. Paul's Church in Warren. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
