Ware - Joseph L. Berthiaume, 60, of Ware died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his home.
He leaves his wife, Anna Vacon-Berthiaume along with his children, Henry Berthiaume, Donna Berthiaume, Shawn Boisvert, Terry Berthiaume, Joe Berthiaume, Albert Berthiaume, Raymond Berthiaume; his step-son, Mike Gadboury. Joe also leaves his mother, Marie B. Stacy of Ware, his father, Henry J. Berthiaume also of Ware. Joe also leaves 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves his siblings, Mike Berthiaume, Moe Berthiaume his wife Linda, Ken Stacy, Larry Stacy, Bill Berthiaume, and Lisa Berthiaume; his step-siblings, Mark Jerome, Roger Jerome, J.J. Jerome, Gina Pappineau and Lee Ann Anderson.
He was born in Ware was a life long resident of Ware and Palmer.
Joe loved working on and restoring cars and building model airplanes. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed doing odd jobs and helping others.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00AM in Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware. At the family's request, mask will be required for all in attendance. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association on line at www.diabetes.org or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield MA 01104.
