Josephine Mary Skoczylas

West  Warren----Josephine  M.  (Radon)  Skoczylas, 96, of West Warren, passed away on September 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of West Warren, until the last three years when she was a resident of Quaboag on the Common of West Brookfield. Josephine was the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Lopata) Radon. She was predeceased by her husband Peter S. and her son Peter E. Skoczylas, as well as by her sisters Wanda Urban  and Laura Charbonneau. She leaves her son David and his wife Jane of Ware, her daughter-in-law Patricia Skoczylas of West Warren, her grandsons Dave and his wife Lisa and Brian and his wife Erin of Ware, Peter, Andy and his wife Donna and Jenny Skoczylas all of The Warrens. She also leaves her two precious great-grandchildren Ethan and Lucas Skoczylas, who brought so much sunshine into her life. Josie also leaves many nephews, nieces and her special angels, Gail Lyons, Mike and Marcia Misiaszek, and Paul and Sandy Cook. She was a lifetime communicant of St. Stanislaus Church in West Warren. She was a member of the Polish Women's Alliance and the Rosary Sodality. She was a thirty year plus employee of the Wm. E. Wright Co. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11am in St. Stanislaus Church in West Warren, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday beginning at 9am at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Josie's memory to St. Mary's School, 59 South St. Ware MA 01082.
