Joyce A. Hitchcock

West Brookfield - Joyce A. (Hipson) Hitchcock, 82, of West Brookfield died on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.



She leaves her daughter & son-in-law, Rachel and Gürcan Gulen of West Brookfield; her brother Herman Hipson and his wife Jane; her sister, Janet Hipson Arell as well as several nieces and nephews.  Joyce also had two daughters-of-the-heart, Sharon Fiske of West Brookfield and Nicole Boucher of East Brookfield whose companionship brought her much joy.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Edwin and Kenneth and her sister Joan.



She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late J. Edward and B. Ethel (Element) Hipson. Joyce graduated from Auburn High School in 1956.



Joyce was an Accounting Clerk at McLean Hospital in Belmont before retiring in 1995.

A Graveside Service for Joyce will be held in the spring.
