New Braintree - Judith L (Klem) Stone 77 died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her home in New Braintree. She was born in Ware, MA daughter of the late John and Bernice (Tamkus) Klem.
She leaves behind a son, Robert Rankfalla and his wife Sherril of Brookfield. A brother Michael Klem and his wife June of New Braintree, four grandchildren; Heather & Laurel Cote and Timothy & John Callahan, 5 great-grandchildren, she also leaves an uncle Leo Tamkus, several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Judith was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Kenneth Stone and her son, Mark Rankfalla.
She was a graduate of David Prouty High School.
She worked at Hodes Supermarket and Galileo Fiber Optics. She also worked at Klems, as the greenhouse manager, for about 40 years where she loved being surrounded by all of the plants and flowers in the greenhouse and also enjoyed talking with the many customers.
She enjoyed working in the garden and also enjoyed many hours of painting (she was an very talented artist), she also enjoyed swimming either at home or in Naples, Florida where she spent her winters.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services are private. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Overlook Hospice Service, 88 Masonic Home Rd #2, Charlton, MA 01507.
