Judith M. Thomasian

North Brookfield - Judith M. (Foley) Thomasian, 81, of North Brookfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Harrington Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.



Known as the beloved Nina, she leaves her daughter, Amy J. Thomasian of Charlton; her grandson, Cody J. Thomasian and his wife Lindsey of Boylston; her great grandaughter Harper Thomasian; her sisters, Virginia Markt of Torrington, CT, Linda Carpenter of Daytona Beach, FL, and June C. Hoyle and her husband Willard O. Hoyle Jr. of Bluffton, SC, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her late husband Khrekor (George) Thomasian in 2002 and her sister Patricia Derrick of Oakham in 2007.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Gagnon) Foley.



Born in Worcester and growing up in Oakham, she attended Oakham Grammar School and North Brookfield High School, graduating in 1958.



For many years she was employed by Children's Friends Society in Worcester, later becoming a Direct Sales Representative for AAA Auto Club of South Central New England and then on to a Marketing Agent for Worcester County Newspapers.  After retiring she continued working in the private sector caring for elderly in the Litchfield and Fairfield counties of Connecticut.



Judith was a world traveler and an accomplished artist.  She was caring and generous to all around her and will be greatly missed by friends and family. She loved to tell stories of growing up on the farm in Oakham and took great pride in her family history. She loved going to the ocean and spending her time in Hampton Beach as much as she could.



At Judith's request, services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Brookfield Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 73, North Brookfield, MA, 01535.



Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
