Ware - Julia A. (Lak) St. Germain, 100, of Pine St., died on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
She leaves her son, Robert St. Germain and his wife Paulette of Florida; a sister, Nellie Crevier of Ware; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald St. Germain, a son, Richard St. Germain, a daughter, Mary Sulewski and a brother, Alexander Lak. She was born inWare, daughter of the late Leopold and Victoria (Gaj) Lak and was a lifelong resident.
Julia worked for many years as a stitcher at the Seven Sisters Company in Ware before retiring.
She was a member of All Saints Church and their Holy Rosary Sodality, the Ware Golden Agers, former treasure of the 4-H Club of Ware and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Funeral Services will be private and burial will be in New St. Williams Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter, 101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
