West Warren - Kathleen N. (Shifflett) Berger, 73, of West Warren died on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.



She leaves her sons, Charles Weller, III of West Warren and Kevin Weller of Arlington,VT; her daughter, Kimberly Campbell of Reading, OH, her step-sons, Chris Berger of Arlington, VT and Joseph Berger of Clinton; six grandchildren, Trenton Weller, Kyle Weller, Paige Weller, Lillian Weller, Devlin Campbell, and Cody Campbell; her brother, William Thompson, her brother-in-law, John James, and two nephews, William "Butch" Seibert and John F. Kowley.  Kathleen was predeceased by her husband David W. Berger, Sr., his son, David W. Berger, Jr. and her two sisters, Brenda Lee (Shifflett) Kowley and Linda Mae (Shifflett) James.  She was born in Bethesda, MD, daughter of the Calvin C. Shifflett and Charlotte E. (Ward) Thompson.



Kathleen worked in restaurants for most of her adult life as a Manager.



She enjoyed spending her time painting and had a love for cooking.



Kathleen was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.



A Graveside Service for Kathleen, will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 10:00AM in the Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street in Hudson, MA.  There are no calling hours scheduled.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to www.gofundme.com/kathy-berger-funeral-expenses .



Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
