Ware – Kendall L. Gilmore, 64, of Ware, died on Thursday morning, April 17, 2025, following a period of declining health.
He leaves his loving wife, Mary A. (O’Brien) Gilmore; the pride of his life, His daughters; Laura Gilmore and her partner, Jd Chancery of Ware, and Kelly Gilmore of Agawam. He also leaves his one and only granddaughter Aubrianna, who nicknamed him, “Bampy.” In Kendall’s eyes, she could do no wrong, and she was his “Shuggy.” He also leaves his sister, Margaret Wright of Brockton, and his brothers, Derick Mains of Malden, and Fred Gilmore and his wife Nancy of Southwick, as well as many friends, nieces & nephews who all loved him dearly. He is predeceased by his 2 daughters, Mary and Victoria Gilmore, and his siblings, John, Darin, Sherry, and Shannon Mains. He was born in Brockton, MA, son of the late Fred Gilmore and Rosemary (Lloyd) Mains.
Kendall was a family man through & through. Dedicated his life & purpose to being a loving son, devoted husband, incredible father, doting grandfather, supportive brother & favorite uncle.
He was a very proud and patriotic American who loved this country. He was a solid sounding board for all that knew him. He was great at giving advice but never taking any. The king of crazy off the wall one liners. He used humor to heal everything. Kendall was strong willed & lived life the way he wanted – no one was going to tell him any differently.
Calling hours for Kendall will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5 to 7PM in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware.
