Kenneth "Ken" Frazier

September 1, 1932 — July 30, 2019

West Warren - Kenneth "Ken" Frazier, 86, of West Warren, died on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at his home with his loving family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife of 64 years, Patricia J. (Corbett) Frazier; four children, Kenneth P. Frazier of West Brookfield, Karen A. Davis of West Brookfield, Kathleen M. Czub and her husband Timothy of West Warren, and Kevin Frazier and his wife Jennifer of Brimfield; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many friends in Warren and West Warren. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph, and his foster mother, Marie Meacham.   He was born in Troy, NH, and has lived in West Warren for nearly 60 years.

Kenneth was a graduate of the former Warren High School, where he lettered in basketball all four years and served as the team captain.  He worked as a Chemical Production Operator at Monsanto in Springfield for 39 years, and remained as a very active community member in the towns of West Warren and Warren.  He was a Warren town selectman for 12 years, a member of the Finance Committee for 20 years, served on the Water Commission, the Parks Department, and the Garden Club, placing flowers at the town bridges.  He served on the West Warren Fire Department for 20 years, lastly as a Lieutenant.

Ken enjoyed working around his yard, his pool, and playing golf.  He was a long-time member of Dunroaman Country Club in Gilbertville.  He would arrive so early to play a round of golf, that he'd also make the morning coffee in the clubhouse.

Ken's family would like to give a special thank you to Donna Roberts and all of the other dedicated visiting nurses from Overlook Hospice.
