Obituary

WARE: Kimberly “Kim” A. Roach, 58, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 37 years David N. Roach; her son Jonah D. Roach and his long time partner Olivia of Ware; her grandchildren: Schayleigh Young and Eli Labier; parents Robert P. and D. Jean (Klimavich) Messier of Ware; her sister Monique Joseph and her husband Chad of Ware; her mother-in-law Norma G. Roach of Ware; her brothers-in-law: Darryl Roach and his wife Darlene of Oakham and Daniel Roach and his wife Terhi of Hardwick; her sisters-in-law: Theresa Messier of Ware; Dawn Briand and her husband Glenn of Hardwick, Darlene Staiti and her husband Thomas of New Braintree, Denise Ziemba and her husband Ron of Ware and Diana Smith and her husband Freddie of New Braintree; her best friend Shannon Madigan of West Warren; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her daughters: Kelsey R. Roach and Kayleigh S. Roach and her brother Stephen Messier predeceased her.

Kim was born and raised in Ware and graduated Ware High School in 1985 and earned her associate degree from Becker Junior College in Worcester. She worked for several years as a bank teller with Country Bank and as a paraprofessional with the Ware School Systems. When she and David met, it was love at first sight. They married on November 11, 1988, and started their family. She loved making art and crafting and sold many of her designs through her online store, Farm House Custom Designs. She enjoyed gardening, she was an amazing cook and loved spending time with her family and friends. After she lost her daughters, she authored a memoir titled "Beyond the Needle, Chasing the Last High” and published it independently in hopes of helping others to heal. All who knew and loved Kimberly will miss her dearly.

All are invited to her calling hours on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 4-7pm at Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street, Ware, MA 01082. A Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11am in All Saints Catholic Church, 17 North Street, Ware, MA 01082 followed by burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Ware, MA. All guests are asked to please go directly to the church. Memorial donations in Kim’s memory may be made to her GoFundMe
