Lee M. Brown

Ware – Lee M. (Majka) Brown, 75, died suddenly on Monday, September 22, 2025, after being stricken suddenly ill while at home.

She leaves her daughters, Sonya Brown and Mechelle Brown, both of Ware, as well as her son, Henry Brown, Jr. and his wife Susan of Oakham. She also leaves six grandchildren, Brian, Leigha, Alicia, Sierra, Patrick, and Andrea. She also leaves her brothers, Frank and Eric Majka, as well as many of her friends from bingo. She was predeceased by her sister, Joanna Mlynarski, and her brothers, Mark, Johnny, and Brian Majka. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late, Walter and Christine (Mayers) Majka, and was a life-long resident of the town.

Lee enjoyed traveling to the local churches and halls to play bingo. She loved taking care of many animals, good food prepared by others, and most of all, her family and grandchildren.

At her request, services for Lee will be held privately with burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Gilbertville.
