Leigh E. Batchelder
July 10, 1966 — October 31, 2019
West Brookfield - Leigh Ellen Batchelder, 53, of West Brookfield passed away from complications of Type I (juvenile) diabetes on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
She leaves her mother, Faith A. Batchelder of West Brookfield; two sisters, Leslie Spencer and husband Jeff of Atlanta, Georgia and Laurie Mann and husband Tim of Hardwick, her beloved nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Riley, Anna, Matthew and Elizabeth as well as her lifelong best friend Leslie Daniels of Sturbridge, ex-husband Lee Margadonna of Brimfield, friend Sue Potvin and father Richard L. Batchelder, Diana and Debbie of Spencer.
Art in all forms came easily to Leigh. She loved to paint, draw, and wrote beautiful poetry. She sang in the church choir and enjoyed playing guitar. Words cannot capture her sharp wit and incredible sense of humor.
Leigh was the quintessential foodie. Not only did she love savoring food, she baked the best apple pie. During the summer Leigh frequented the beach with friends.
Leigh will forever be remembered as kind and warm-hearted with a whimsical, artistic personality. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her loving family and wonderful friends.
