Leo B. Swett, 77
Warren – Leo B. Swett, 77, died on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
He leaves his sister, Marie F. Swett. He was born in Ware, son of the late Leo W. and Marie A. (Olson) Swett and was a life-long resident of Warren.
Leo graduated from Warren High School and worked as an auto service detailer and handled shop maintenance at the former Spencer’s Garage in Warren. When he was 20, he enlisted in the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Upon his return home, the Spencer’s offered him his old job back, and he remained there until he retired.
A quiet, no fuss man, Leo never married or had children but had many friends.
Leo will be buried in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with his arrangements.
