West Brookfield - Linda M. (Spooner) Bell, 81, of West Brookfield, died on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Brookhaven Assisted Care.
She leaves her nephew, Donald E. Carlson of Williamstown, and her nieces, Darlene Ross and Sondra Bonacquisti both of Pittsfield, and Donna Carlson of Lanesboro. She also leaves her long-time friend and caregiver, Nancy Olsen of Brookhaven. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Gregg A. Bell in 2017. She was born in North Brookfield, daughter of the late Frank and Geraldine Malboeuf and was a life-long resident of the area.
Linda graduated from North Brookfield High School and then worked as a hairdresser.
She enjoyed using her creative talents doing crafts and painting, and would often paint the wooden crafts that her husband Gregg would make in his shop.
A Graveside Service for Linda will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11:15am in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield. Friends and family are invited to come to the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield at 10:30am for a short period of visitation before traveling over to the cemetery for the service.
