West Brookfield - Linda A. (Patten) Davis Taylor, 69, of New Braintree Rd., died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home.
She leaves her husband of 33 years, James R. Taylor; two sons, Allyn Davis and Michael Taylor; one daughter, Teresa Hisman; three brothers, Dennis Patten, Dale Verrill and Peter Patten; three sisters, Cynthia Newton, Barbara Malone and Sharlene Shockey; four grandchildren, Stacey Babcock, Shane Babcock, Timothy Hoaglund II and Ella Taylor and several nieces and nephews. She was born and grew up in Belfast, Maine, daughter of the late Allyn C. and Pearl (Bachelder) Patten and lived 18 years in Clinton before moving to West Brookfield 25 years ago.
She was a graduate of Belfast High School.
Mrs. Taylor was a manager for 15 years at a JC Penny Outlet Store and then worked as a bus driver for over 10 years for Varney's Transportation before retiring in 2016.
Funeral Services for Linda will be held privately. There are no calling hours. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East main St., West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
