Linda Mae Welch

West Brookfield - Linda Mae (Bliss) Welch, of West Brookfield, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 70, shortly after a diagnosis of leukemia. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Peter and Rita (Ledger) Bliss on October 5, 1952.
Linda will be forever missed by her children, Melissa Corbett of Sturbridge, Laurie Broman of West Brookfield, and Scott Nichols and his girlfriend Jen Skoczylas of West Brookfield. She is also survived by her four older brothers, Kenneth Bliss of Wasilla, AK, David Bliss and his wife, Penny of Aikin, SC, Richard Bliss and his wife Shirley of Ware, and Robert Bliss and his wife Betty of West Brookfield. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Stephanie Nichols, Travis Nichols, Justin Dufault, Nicholas Broman, and Madison Corbett, as well as many friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Welch.
Linda worked as a bank teller in the West Brookfield branch of Country Bank for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed staying home, watching game shows, putting together puzzles and simply being around her loved ones. She would also venture out to the Senior Center to play a good game of cards with her friends. Linda was kind hearted and always willing to help others.

At her request, services for Linda will be held privately.
