Lorraine Y. Mailman

Warren - Lorraine Y. (Mongeau) Mailman, 78, of Warren, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.



She leaves four sons, Michael Mailman of Warren, Randal Mailman of Southbridge, Daniel Mailman and his wife Diana of Clovis, New Mexico, and Ronald Mailman of Brookfield; her brother-in-law, Arnold Mailman of LaFayette, Georgia, her sister-in-law, Jean Kingston and her husband Herbert of Warren and brother-in-law Richard Leneau of Warren; seven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Theo F. Mailman just last year.  She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Homer F. and Georgina (Theberge) Mongeau, and was a life-long resident of Warren.



Lorraine worked as a waitress at the Salem Cross Inn, and other local restaurants for several years. She also worked at Vibram, USA (formerly the Quabaug Rubber Company) for seven years before retiring.



A Funeral Service for Lorraine will be held in the Pilgrim Baptist Church, 33 West Brookfield Road in North Brookfield at a later date.



Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
