Lucien Rene Martineau

Lucien Rene  Martineau, 78, passed away on March 17th in West Brookfield. He was born on Dec. 7, 1937 in Canada son of Nazier and Germaine Martineau, he had lived in Springfield before moving to Ware several years ago. He worked as a sheet rock hanger for United Drywall and Local #108  for many  years. He leaves his former wife of 28 years Lucille Martineau, his children, Francis Martineau of Ware, Marlene Vachula and her husband David of Chester, Denis Martineau of Ware, Norman Martineau and fiancee Linda Fournier of Ware, Sylvia Bressette and husband Tony of Warren, Linda Ciejka and husband Rick of  Palmer, and Richard Martineau of Ware, as well as many grand and great-grand children. He also leaves his partner of 25 years Gertrude Shover and her family, his brothers Luc and Andre Martineau, and his sisters Rolande Solois and Diane Galant. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Church and was a member of the Ware K of C   Council. Most of all he was a good provider and wonderful Father. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday March 26th at 11am in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ware. Charbonneau Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
