Lucille Mae Doherty

Gilbertville-Lucille  M. (Godbout) Doherty, 83, passed away on Wednesday at her home. She was  the wife of the late J. Leo Doherty. She leaves her sister Anita McKee and her husband Robert of Palmer, her nephews Richard Godbout of Lowell , Roger Godbout Jr. of Worcester, Mark Godbout in Florida, David McKee of Somers CT, James  McKee of California, her nieces Candice Swiatlowski of Palmer and Denise Jones of Sutton. She was predeceased by her brother Roger Godbout.  She was born in Ware daughter of Napoleon and Anna (Gaudette) Godbout and was a long time Gilbertville  resident. She was a supervisor of accounting at the Ware Savings Bank, now Country Bank. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Church, where she was a lector. Lucille was an avid Red Sox Fan. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 11th from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware with a Mass at 10am in St. Aloysius Church, Church St. Gilbertville. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Ware Senior Center, 1 Robbins Rd, Ware Ma 01082 or to St. Aloysius Church, Church St. Gilbertville Ma. 01082.
