Madeline R. Cregan, 80
West Brookfield - Madeline R. (Boudreau) Cregan, 80, of East Main St. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.
She leaves her two daughters, Maureen Kupstas and her husband Stephen and Kathleen Tarpinian and her husband John of West Brookfield; two grandchildren, Ryan Kupstas and Elizabeth Tarpinian and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John "Jack" Cregan and a brother, Donald Boudreau. She was born and grew up in Spencer, daughter of the late Ernest E. and Aurore (Rouleau) Boudreau before moving to West Brookfield in 1955.
Mrs. Cregan was a pharmacy technician for 25 years at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge before retiring in 1999.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in West Brookfield and a very active member of the West Brookfield Senior Center where she volunteered after retiring.
A Funeral Mass for Madeline will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Sacred Heart Church in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in West Brookfield. A calling hour will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Saturday morning at the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Brookfield Rescue Squad, Inc., P.O. Box 540, West Brookfield, MA 01585
